Massachusetts Arbovirus Surveillance--Birds

Dead bird reporting for the summer of 2008 began on Monday, June 2.  To report dead birds to MDPH, please call 1-866-MASS-WNV.  On July 22, the first two birds were found positive for West Nile virus.  These birds were found in Framingham and Newton.
